For men who are tired of carrying everything alone.
We were taught how to work, provide, push through and keep going. Far fewer of us were taught how to understand ourselves, navigate relationships, express what we feel, or know what to do when strength turns into armour.
The Modern Man Project explores the inner lives of men, the stories we inherit, the patterns we repeat, the relationships we build and the possibility of becoming more grounded, open and whole.
Life can look perfectly fine from the outside.
You've built a career. Taken responsibility. Kept things moving. Been the person people rely on.
Yet something can still feel missing.
Perhaps you struggle to say what you're feeling. Perhaps relationships expose parts of you that work never touches. Perhaps you've spent so long being strong that you no longer know what's underneath it.
Perhaps you've reached the point where success alone doesn't answer the bigger questions anymore.
Am I living as myself or as the version of me I learned to become?
“Strength isn't pretending that nothing affects you. Sometimes strength begins with being willing to look.”

I didn't create The Modern Man Project because I had masculinity figured out. I created it because I didn't.
Like many men, I spent years building a life from the outside in focusing on work, responsibility, resilience and getting on with it.
Beneath all of that were deeper questions about identity, relationships, vulnerability, strength and what it actually means to live honestly as a man.
The Modern Man Project grew out of those questions.
Through writing, speaking, podcasting and conversation, I explore the realities of modern masculinity in a way that is grounded, human and real, without posturing, preaching or pretending there are simple answers.
The Modern Man Project Podcast
Honest reflection. Real conversation.
The podcast explores the emotional and psychological lives of men, the things we inherit, the roles we perform, the pressure we carry and the possibilities that open up when we stop pretending we're unaffected by life.
Fathers. Relationships. Identity. Vulnerability. Love. Shame. Success. Failure. Purpose. Growth.
The things many men feel, but few know how to say.
The Promises We Make as Children
How the promises we make in childhood quietly shape the men we become and what happens when we finally begin questioning them.
Strong Enough to Fall
The Art of Balancing Vulnerability with Modern Masculinity
Men are often taught to stay hard, stay silent and stay in control.
What if vulnerability isn't the opposite of strength, but part of it?
Strong Enough to Fall explores what happens when the ways we've learned to protect ourselves begin limiting our relationships, our peace and our ability to live authentically.
Conversations Men Remember
Talks about masculinity, emotional wellbeing and the inner lives of men.
Dan speaks with men's groups, organisations, workplaces, podcasts and communities about the subjects men often struggle to say out loud.

You don't need to have everything figured out.
The Modern Man Project is for men who want more than performance, coping and simply getting on with it.
It's for men who want to understand themselves more deeply, love more honestly, live more consciously and build a form of strength that doesn't depend on pretending.
You only need to be willing to begin.
